Applications Now Open for NextGen Leaders Academy

Missouri NextGen Ministries seeks to support and equip Missouri’s NextGen leaders. One way we do that is through a new program called NextGen Leaders Academy. This six-month program teaches the basics of NextGen ministry, empowers leaders to do big, exciting things, and creates a network of support for leaders all across the state.

NextGen Leaders Academy looks like:

• Six months of learning and community-building
• Three in-person events: A kick-off retreat, learning day on mental health and final celebration
• Zoom learning sessions with UMC presenters and field experts
• Zoom cohort meetings following each learning session
• Six follow-up cohort meetings following completion of NGLA
• One required readings
• One self-directed final project specific to your ministry setting
